2 weeks ago My best friend, Rian tried to commit suicide because he loves me and i did not love him back.
If i wouldnt of found him he would have died that night, the worst thing is i feel as if it is all my fault.
well anyways me and him got in a fight last night because he said im a tease but thats not true i already told him i just wanted to be friends.
he made me cry because all the mean things he was yelling at me.
i really love and care for him but i dont know what to do.

You are not responsible for Ryan. It's apparent that you seem to push the wrong buttons in each other, which can be toxic. I would recommend slowly distancing yourself. Maybe Ryan has deeper problems than you can solve.

I'm sorry but sounds like your friend has some major ISSUES
any body that tries to take their owe live has problems and it's not your fault, and if he's saying mean things to you do you really think that's somebody that cares? be care full girl you don't need all that drama

Get it straight with him that he is responsible for his actions NOT you! Explain to him you care for him, but he can not control you or affect your decisions by his foolish behavior. If he straightens up he might be a decent friend, if not run like heck.

when i was a kid my friend killed herself, i blamed myself for a long time, i knew it was my fault. but the truth is, its not your fault. people make thier own decisions.
so first you need to realize that its not your fault. then you need to write him a letter, tell him how you feel and how much it hurt you that he tried to kill himself and that he calls you names. tell him that you want him to be your friend, but not if your relationship continues to be destructive.
and above all, know that whatever he does is not your fault.
