I have an HP laptop and we just moved so we are setting up a new network, but I dont know where to find my MAC address! Where can I find it, Ive already looked though my paperwork, so is it on my computer somewhere? Thank you!!!

Go to Start -> run. Type cmd and press Ok.
In the window that looks like an old DOS windows, type ipconfig /all . Your MAC address will be listed there.

Go Start, Run, then type in CMD and hit ENTER

Type in the following: ipconfig /all

Your MAC address will be listed under the Physical Address field.

If you are using Windows (and you probably are).
Click start, then run.
type cmd
when the window comes up type
ipconfig /all

the MAC address is in hexidecimal (numbers 0-9 and letters A-F) and has colons (:) in it.

Open a command prompt (Start-->Run and type cmd and hit OK) and type ipconfig /all and hit enter. It will show your MAC address as "Physical Address"
