The postseason is a complete crapshoot because you're only talking about a best-of-5 or best-of-7 series. That makes all of these predictions absolutely meaningless.
Any team that makes the postseason has a shot. Just ask surprise winners like the 2003 Marlins and 1990 Reds, or losing teams like the 2001 Mariners. Playing well late in the season, having a good record overall - none of it means much in a short series.
