i have ASUSDVD insalled and it says "tv port not working properly" when i try and play my DVDs, can any one help with this or does anyone know of another way i can play my DVDs on the computer?

There might be an option to select the source of the video...you need to select your DVD drive and not a TV tuner card.

Get a DVD rom and use WMP, usually works although i use something else i cant remember the name

If you put one in the disk drive then Windows Media Player should kick in striaght away.

if you have a dvd rom and windows media player, win amp or any media player, you should be able to play a dvd.
