For one, stop letting guys pick you.. The ones you don't need, are the one's that approach you first. And as far as friends, either make more guide lines, or make new friends. My mother always told me, " if your lucky, you will make at least two real friends in a lifetime".

Sounds like you have self-esteem issues. Do you feel that unless you cater to other people's needs, they would not want to hang out with you? You have to learn to believe that your worth isn't directly related to how accomodating you are to others. Being supportive towards your friends is part of being a friend - but maintaining your own personal space is part of being a healthy individual. Try to push back in situations where you recognize you're being "used". You might lose a few "friends", but in the long run you'll be better off.

People will only respect you as much as you respect yourself.

Take all that time you spend on people that are users and use it on yourself! Work out, start a hobby, learn something. Trust me, spending time on yourself is the best thing you can do for your friends. Sounds wierd but I promise it's true.

learn to say NO, or I don't have the time. Either way you need to look at your time and see what is there for you and take that time for yourself, even if its just browsing a magazine or going for a walk, for an hour or two, your relaxation time or period is your time for YOU.

You are giving more than you are getting. Ask for more. Tell people it is 2 way, or no way.
