Absolutely. There are so many scams out there it isn't funny. Be especially aware of emails appearing to be from a well known backs claiming that for security reasons you need to re-enter all your account information. I've received one from "Chase" and one from "HSBC". And those I need your help let me use your name and I'll give you like 20 million dollars. Right. But first you need to send them the money necessary to process it all.

yes. You will respond then they will tell you that you ahve to pay about 500- 1000 dollars for the secured shipping of the cheque, and you'll never recieve the cheque. My fiance played around with a scam like taht (he recieved it) butnever sent the money. He reported to the FBI (they do like to recieve these things to get these scumbags).

Yes they will try to steal money from you via a ach or have you travel to a foreign country and rob you.
