Inside the boat the water systems need to have recreational vehicles pink liquid. This goes in the head, in the water tank, the bilge, and if you have a gray water bilge, if you have one and if you have a hot water tank, that tank. Sometimes we use cheap vodka for the drinking water system because it avoids the bad taste. Of course drain any systems possible.
In the motor, drain any water. Replace any space in the cooling system with an environmentally friendly antifreeze. Some boats have freeze plugs that are removed from the bottom, dont forget to replace them in the spring.

Put fuel stanilizer (OMC 2+4) in the gas run enging till your sure it reaches the carb...it dont hurt to pour a little in the carb bowl vents 2 if you have a 4bbl after your out of the waterand done..this will save your carb,,, spray the fogging oil in the carb wile the engine is running dont let it stall till you see heavy smoke then flood the carb with it till it stalls,,, replace the flame arrestor..remove the boat from water at this point drain engine block V8s and V6s have a block drain on both sides,,, drain exhaust manifolds , risers , some have a transmission cooler this must be drained also just remove the bottom hose,, fill engine and manifolds with antifreeze also trans cooler if you have one..change engine and drive oil...use non-poisenus antifreeze.. but not the pink stuff for your drains.. it will Rust your inner cooling system

Attach a fitting to your engine cooling water intake. Make a mix of 50/50 (anti-freeze and water) utilizing approx. 3gal. of anti-freeze.With engine running at idle speed introduce the mix into the engine cooling system. When about 1/4 of the mix is left in the bucket pour Marvel Mystery Oil striaght down the carburator until the engine stalls. You now have protected the engine from freezing and coated the pistons, rings, valves etc. with oil. It'll smoke a lot while your doing this but don't let that scare you.

It's easy the most important thing is make sure no water is in it. Change the oil and everything. I empty the gas out of mine and everything been doing it for 4 year's now and have had no trouble.
