Soulmates really don't exsist. Think about it, if they did then we would all be marrying people from different towns and even countries because that one and only person could be from anywhere. But we don't. We very often marry someone from the same place that we come from.
I really do think people set themselves up for a fall if they believe they've met a soulmate and expect it to all be hearts and flowers from that point on. Speaking as a long-time, very happily married person I can honestly say that there have been times I would have sold my husband to the gypsies for a bag of buttons. But, if you fall in love with someone you work, work, work at it and only time will tell if you're meant to be together forever.
Sorry to party poop the soulmate idea but there is no such thing. But on the good side, that means that there is no such thing as settling (unless you really are desperate). We all have the chance to meet someone to fall in love with and try really hard to be happy forever.

Soulmate are hard to find, I hear there is also a twinmate, flame mate, forgot what it is called. That is exactly ur other half, only one exists even rarer to find. Well...u can still find a companion that will respect you, love you, and cherish you that is not your soulmate. Do not give up on love, it is the only most beautiful thing in this world. Good luck!

Well, I found mine though I would have never considered her my sole mate until after we were married for sometime. I believe that two people that love each other and treat each other well will be very, very, very happy. I was happy when my wife and I were first married but I am happier now that we have spent 12 year together than I could have ever imagined I could be.

With a negative attitude like that, you'll never be happy. There's somebody for everyone, sometimes they pop up in the most unlikely of places and are not what you expected, one must keep an open mind and be ready for anything.

I think I would just have to settle, and try to make the best of things. I mean, hey, who wants to live the rest of their life lonely?

If you can find one love in your life that makes you complete than go for it. Otherwise dont settle. You will live to regret it. I did.

How do you know? None of us know until we find that special someone. If you haven't found him...then wait! It will happen. Be optimistic, not doubtful and never settle.
