are you sure everyone has a window cleaner? I couldn't get one for years. In the end I happened to see one cleaning windows down the road so I chased him to his van and made him come back and do my windows! try a mail-drop - get some leaflets printed (doesn't have to cost too much) and drop them through every door in the area. If no-one phones you you've only lost the price of the mailshot, but I'm sure they will, and even if it's only a few jobs, it's money you wouldn't otherwise have had.

You can buy rounds from people if they are selling them if you have any savings. You will earn far more this way. My mate's brother has a round and does £1000 a week! Much better than £250 you'll earn in wages. Approach the bank maybe for a small business loan?

If still no good your best bet is putting your CV on monster/total jobs/jobsite to let people search for you. Also search for jobs on these websites.

Good luck!

Have you tried JOBCENTRE PLUS online website? You do not need to sign up or anything. Select GENERAL in the jobs slot and then add such as window cleaner etc. Other ways of finding window cleaning work are to check out THOMPSONS local telephone directory - look up windowcleaners etc.

My family live in Kent, they always have trouble finding window cleaners...
Look in the yellow pages or Thomson local and im sure you can either find a company and apply to work for them, or advertise yourself as self employed.

If you manage to get a few houses by knocking at the doors then make a GOOD job of the windows and word will creep along the houses. Give it a go, you can only go in one direction if people like your work

Why not ask one of those people who u have ask if they want a w/cleaner for the contact number of thier w/cleaner and find out if they would be interested in taking you on if not then ask them if they know any-one who would like a second hand man for their rounds.

Without poaching someone Else's round!!!!!!!!!!! try putting some leaflets through doors, Ad's in shop windows, and if you're serious, then maybe get a little space in your local paper or free ad's. Best of luck, but remember your woolies and radio. Should imagine it gets cold and lonely
