2 weeks after you can find out! AS LONG as your HCG level is high enough although you CAN go to your doctors at 2 weeks as well and have blood done!

There are now very early pregnancy tests that you can take (you can buy them at Walgreens or wherever) that will show you are pregnant as soon as 1 day after your missed period. Keep in mind though, that sometimes you can get a false negative if it's early on. If your boobs are sore, that's also an early indicator of pregnancy.

I was 2 weeks pregnant when I found out. Actually I found out 3 days before I went to doctor. I found out very early! I had not missed my period when I took the test. So when they say 5 days before your missed period they mean it.

From the moment an egg is fertilized it takes between 6 to 12 days for the egg to travel to the uterus, attach to the lining and begin to develop. It then takes another day or two for the hcg hormone levels in your body to be high enough to be detected by a home pregnancy test. So about two weeks from conception or ovulation.

I got my first positive with this pregnancy 4 days before my period was due to start.

Blood tests are way more sensitive than urine tests -- you could probably get a positive about 7 days post conception.

You can do the home test now.

However, bear in mind that if you have only just had unprotected intercourse recently it may be too early (and a negative result might become positive in a little while). In this case you should wait a week and re-test.

Or see your doctor for a blood test.
