any thing tight and sexy will work, how you sound is what's important. Oh yes... and your shoes! Go buy yourself a new pair just for the gig to remember them as "those awesome shoes you got for your first gig!"
Make sure they are CFM's!

For a gig...i usually where all black
Black shirt with red or white lettering
Black pants...no leather just tight jeans
And some pimpin' black shoes
Black wristband
And a cool chain necklace

You want to "stand out" but not "stick out" from your audience. If the audience is jeans and t-shirt, don't wear a sequinned evening dress and just remember this: the audience wants you to win!!!

It's not what you wear but how you wear it. You've got to have that natural rock star swagger or it won't work no matter what you're wearing. You look like you'll be fine if that's your picture.
