Would this be a silly move?

two different types of cars. A Kia is reliable, but more of a throwaway car. Alfa is more of a sports car, performance .
if the Alfa is old and going to fall apart and you can't afford something new a Kia is a good alternative till you can afford something better.

come on... alfa to kia??? unless ur alfa is 15years old. alfa is much reliable & safe &sturdy... but, how silly it is depends on the country u r in. if u r in asia, may be u should change to kia( provided ur alfa is 15years old) as it is easier to get the spare parts & maintenance compare to alfa cars..

Alfa who drives them!!! unreliable shite. Kia - old mans plastic car and a poor choice. Buy a car magazine and read up some reviews, you would probably be better off buying japanese (cheap suzuki's,etc)

No i do no longer think of that they are secure. in case you run a crimson gentle with a Kia and that i hit you with my GMC 3500 quad-cab 4x4, I assure which you would be sucked out of the Kia with a watch dropper and squirted right into a physique bag!
