how do I change the default size and position when a window is opened on windows?

every once in a while the default position and size of a specific window is changing (no matter what is the software). How do I force to open where I want it and with the size that I want it?

Maybe this will work for you...

Right click on the programs icon, choose properties. There is a dropdown called Run: Choose the size you want. Apply.
