Gorillaz for sure..they have been in the music industry longer and they had more hits than maroon 5!

Personally i like gorillaz better cuz they're definitely more original(when was the last time you've seen a cartoon band make it this big?) and i think they use a variety of genres instead of just sticking to rap or electronic or whatever.

they're both good but whenever either of them come out with a new song its always seriously overplayed to the point where you cant stand it anymore...everyone else seems to be saying gorillaz so i'll say maroon 5 to even it out a little
