Well, I'd think that love happens at LEAST once per lifetime. Some people waste that love. Some people give up too soon. Others get several chances to find "The One" I've dated a select few girls in my time. None of them made me as happy as my current girlfriend. I think I've found true love, and if anything changes I'll get back to you on that whole "once" thing. I'm sure you'll find your "One True Love". Most people do, if they notice the signs.

Absolutely..... I'm am 33, mother of 3....15,9, & 7. I've been in several long term relationships in the past 15 years. Relationships where money was no object, relationships where the sex was great, and it seemed as though we had all we could possibly need but when problems arose they fell apart. I am now in a relationship with the true love of my life.....no matter what life sends our way we make it through on love alone.....we have overcome problems including drug addiction, possible forclosure on our home, other people sticking their noses in our relationship and trying to cause us pain..... we share so much love, nothing could tear us apart.....Love Is All We Need!!!!

I am inclined to agree! Someone else also sang "Love makes the world go round". I also believe this to be true! Of course people need money to live but money without love would just be miserable surely?

As much as I love the Beatles, I'm going to have to say no, love is not all you need. I think the world would be a better place if there was more love, less hate. (no, I'm not a hippie.) But let's face it - there are more complications in life than love can solve.

Yes. Love is all you need. not LITERALLY.. of course you need food, clothes, etc but if you think about it in the bigger picture...... everything either revolves around love or traces to it. For the people who say money is more important.. then all you gta do is ask yourself.. if oneday there was a choice to make and the choices were to either stay with your 'love' one somewhere in the woods to start from scratch .. ORRRRR .. live rich and famous without your 'love' one. For those who are truly in LOVE will choose to stay with each other because love IS all you need. it gives the human bein.. strength, hope, confidence.

I believe it. As was stated before, this song isn't about romantic love at all. They were expressing that all you need is brotherly love... fellowship with others. I believe that if everyone had brotherly love, we would not NEED anything because everyone would freely give various needs of others to one another. Like a farmer (with love) would give (in love) food to those who are hungry.

this song is not about romantic love---it's about a love of all living things. i'd still say yes, it's true for me. when you feel this kind of love, the feeling is indescribable. you just feel pure love. of course, we have to live. it's not about love vs. , well, anything. i'm sure hoping people, especially young people discover this cause the world's gone insane and this would definitely help.

Yes, but unrequitted love is worthless as far as a sustaining force, it has to be reciprocal.
