when it was supposed to start i took a family dollar pregnancy test (8 days after having sex ) and (4 days after missed period ) and it came back positive...is it even possible to find out just 8 days after having sex...with a urine test.....or i've been pregnant from the previous month.....please answer ...thanks.

a dollar store pregnancy test is 50 Miu meaning it will not detect pregnancy for at least 12 DPO. so i think 8 days would be too soon. I would think you would be pregnant from the previous month. was the positive line dark or faint?

see the doctor to confirm could have been from the month before or you ovulate earlier in your cycle than you thought/
