Before I answer, how on earth can anyone consider mel gibson a director???? all he is is a pompous a** who thinks he is the master of the universe. ok now that I've said my piece..
I adore Luc Besson, Terry Gilliam, and of course Tim Burton. And I will allow a honorable mention for Sam Raimi, he is the second best when it it comes to sci-fi.
