DO NOT GET UR BF'S NAME. That is a recipe for disaster, chances are you will break up within 6 months.
But as far was what to get? What means something to you, what influences you, attracts you? Once you figure that out you can get that word translated into another language, maybe a country from your ancestry.
Good luck

I have a tat on my left wrist, it's a medium sized pink flower on the top with a really awesome tribal that goes all the way around my wrist with a neat design on the bottom, it's really hard to explain but it's nothing too much and something i can still hide with a wide band watch if need be!

Well, small but cute. Thought of a Fairy? Maybe Tinkerbell if your into her, or even a Tweety bird? Perhaps your favorite cartoon character?
For writing, what about your name? Your kids name if you have any? (I don't suggest getting a significant others name, for with the way humans are these days and staying with someone.... you might regret it and/or get it covered up) Thought about getting any Asian characters? (written) Like your name in Chinese, Korean, Japanese or what have you? How about your birth month? What about your Zodiac Sign?
And if all else fails, perhaps just a simple rose of whatever color strikes your fancy.

If you're looking for a decent job, I'm sorry to tell ya it's best to keep it more concealed then on your wrist. A friend of mine has to constantly have an oversized watch or bracelet on at work, if it gets exposed to the clients, her butt is toast.

With tattoos, while you're uncertain (for in spite of reason) , then you definately could wait. try having your brother placed it on quickly and placed on it around, and take a examine out distinctive clothing on and pass distinctive techniques, and notice the way you sense. you're at an earnings in which you will ask your brother issues that ordinary purchasers could no longer ask their tattoo artist. He would desire to place a stencil on or write it in Sharpie for you. success~

A fine chain bracelet or a celtic symbol (small) as for words maybe your childs name if you have one - my suggestion is have it on your left wrist so if you want to cover it for work or what ever you can put a watch over it

Well I can't get anymore on my wrists... not enough room left. Now as for you... if you cannot come up with something yourself then I would suggest waiting until you do. Asking strangers what you should put permanently on your body is just silly.

IF I ever get the courage, I want to put "Breathe" in white writing on the inside of my wrist. It will be seen by me only, for the most part.

I always get told that tattoo's on hands, wrists, feet and ankles are prison tattoo's.
But if you really want, something small and delicate, not chunky.
A twinning rose, with thorns and leaves.
