It is a fake video blog on youtube. The girl (Really a ninteen year old actress) plays Bree, a sixteen year old homeschooler with no friends except for a guy she knows (Daniel). Many people thought it was real, but someone recently proved it was fake.

From what I've read, it's an online soap opera, or something like that.
The girl who is lonelygirl15 is a 19-year-old actress, Australian I think... I don't know her name, though.
