How would human society evolve if humans were asexual autotrophs?

What would society be like if human beings could make their own food like plants do, and didn't have to worry about finding sexual mates to continue the species?

Boy, a lot of our struggles would be over!

I imagine it would be very, very, very different. We wouldn't even have as much motivation to impress others! No more inventions or grasping for money and status!
