In logic, begging the question is the term for a type of fallacy occurring in deductive reasoning in which the proposition to be proved is assumed implicitly or explicitly in one of the premises. For an example of this, consider the following argument: "Only an untrustworthy person would run for office. The fact that politicians are untrustworthy is proof of this." Such an argument is fallacious, because it relies upon its own proposition—in this case, "politicians are untrustworthy"—in order to support its central premise. Essentially, the argument assumes that its central point is already proven, and uses this in support of itself

"serve as world police" flawed.

Uh NO! The UN is supposed to keep the peace! I mean, we should maybe send a couple thousand troops with them beecause we are a member of the security council, but come on! If the UN got off its back, stopped talking about feelings and did something, then who knows where the world would be?

No one likes to be policed over, not even the police themselves. What I do know is , I want to live. There was a man long ago who set an example for me. I saw the way he was crucified, and I pondered. His hands and feet were nailed down and in this I saw in me, that even my own hands and feet were not obedient to my will not to do or go, and I have learned to identify with the man on the cross. I did not have to be nailed down to realize his message to me and with a teachable spirit I could finally see.
