Why do I get a "?" at the centre of my quicktime symbol on my screen and the stream not play?

I am using Mozilla Firefox browser

Update your Quicktime and Firefox. All else fails - for as much as I hate to admit it - sometimes you gotta open use the old Internet Explorer.

somtimes mozilla firefox dosent support some codecs. for eg you cant play yahoo music videos on mozilla firefox
but i thknkit might help if you updated or installed som flash players i guess
