I have been an ebay buyer and seller for many years now. Thus far I've had no problems especially when I use paypal to send or receive money. You will, however, receive spoof emails from time to time once you start using ebay. Whenever this happens you can see if it's really from ebay by going to your account ON EBAY (not from any link in the email) and checking messages. If nothing's there, you've gotten a spoof mail that's fishing for personal information. This email can be reported via spoof@ebayc.om.
Happy buying or selling to you (BTW you can get new goods on ebay too!)

It is a very secure site. I use it to purchase items all the time. I would read all the reviews of the seller before purchasing anything. The only thing I dont like is how readily your phone number is available to the members. I got a call once from a seller who I left a bad review for.

I have bought and sold on eBay. I have used pay pal and never had a problem with it.
Only use a secure site, never give anyone your password.

just look out for paypal...I had a huge problem before with them.
