GERMANY won the 2006 BDO men's Hockey World Cup in Monchengladbach, Germany after beating AUSTRALIA 4-3 in the final. both teams have also appeared in the last World Cup final in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2002 when GERMANY also won against the same opponent.
