I think you should feel guilty... I just started college and I have a job so why are you too young to start earning? I call home when I need some money for school related events but if its just pleasure spending or whatever you should be paying for it yourself. Find a job on campus or around town or something.

yes

Do you truly need the junk you are buying? NO. You are NOT setting yourself up for reality. Some day your parents will cut you off, and you will be SO spoiled that you will have NO idea how to set a budget, how to live within your means, and no husband is going to want to deal with your ridiculous spending habits.

Don't you have classes to study for? Why are you wasting all your time and your parents money at the mall?

To top it OFF
you are NOT TOO YOUNG to start earning. I started making my own money starting at age 13 with babysitting, was a lifeguard by 16, a lifeguard instructor by 18, a swim coach in college and had engineering internships starting my sophomore year in college. SO SORRY PRINCESS, you are NOT too young to have a job.

Gee, I started earning my own money when I was 11 with a paper route and 43 years later am still earning my own money.

Only you can answer that guilt question, but you are not to young to earn your own money. So take a part time job, what you by with your own money you will appreciate a lot more than what you buy with your parents money

What do you mean you're to young to start earning??? I got a job when I was 16. I'm a sophmore in college FULL TIME (16 hours + homework) and a FULL TIME employee (40 hours a week). I buy anything I want with my OWN money. That's pathetic that you're using your parents money. Now when they get old and need it they won't have it because you're spending it all like a greedy little brat. Grow up, get a job.

If you are in college then you are not too young to start making money. I think that you should at least offer to get a job and help out, you can't live off of your parents forever and it is good to go ahead and get the experience of working.

YOU HAVE AN ANXIETY ISSUE, AND YOU GET OFF ON THE HIGH THAT COMPULSIVE SHOPPING GIVES YOU. BUYING POWER CAN BE EXCELLENT REINFORCEMENT FOR FEELING LIKE YOU HAVE LITTLE CONTROL IN YOUR LIFE.
UNFORTUANTELY, IT IS AT YOU PARENTS' EXPENSE. YOU PROBABLY DO NOT COMPREHEND HOW LONG (AT LEAST 30 YEARS) YOU PARENTS HAVE WORKED TO ESTABLISH THE LIFESTYLE THEY HAVE NOW.
YOU ARE ALSO SUFFERING FROM "ENTITLEMENT SYNDROME", WHICH IS SELF-EXPLANATORY. MAYBE YOUR PARENTS DID NOT INSTILL IN YOU, OR TEACH YOU THE VALUE OF YOUR OWN EFFORT. I AM SURE THAT THEY FEEL DISAPPOINTED IN THEMSELVES OVER THIS, AND ALSO IN YOU. YOU SHOULD TAKE RESPONSIBILITY.
YOU ARE NOT TOO YOUNG TO START EARNING. THEY SHOULD HAVE SHOWN YOU THAT WHEN YOU WERE A CHILD. YOU SHOULD GET A PART TIME JOB WORKING AT YOUR COLLEGE, A BOOKSTORE, A COFFEESHOP, ETC. YOU WILL SOON REALIZE HOW MANY HOURS YOU HAVE TO WORK TO BE ABLE TO AFFORD CERTAIN THINGS YOU WANT........YOU WILL ALSO MAKE YOUR PARENTS PROUD, AND YOU WILL FEEL A SENSE OF ACCOMPLISHMENT.

WHAT????? too young to start earning. I was 12 years old when I started having to buy my own clothes or wear handme downs that don't fit. You need to grow up and start making your own money. You need a dose of reality. Your parents need to stop the money and make you get a job!!!
