At the time the decision was made, I don't imagine either of you really thought it would end the way it has. Easy to agree to anything under those circumstances. When you step back into the real world it suddenly becomes a different story. She now knows what it costs!

Sounds logical to me. She should be the one paying for it if she wanted the divorce. To me there must be a reason she wanted it and if that is the case if she wants it bad enough she will fork out the money to get it. Stand your ground, if she wants it she will pay for it. There can't be anything worse than your spouse wanting a divorce then making you pay for it on top of it all.

Maybe she doesn't have the money for it or she just thinks that if she holds out long enough you will pay. Maybe when you agreed on it whe thought that you would be the one to want the divorce. Sometimes we agree to things that we really don't want to do.

Well it all depends on who is at fault. If she wants a divorce because you were cheating then dont you think you should pay for it. But say for instance she just wants to explore other options or that you were still willing to work it out then she should pay for it.

Just pay for it. It'll be money well spent.
Think about it. Do you really want to keep spinning your wheels with someone who: 1. walked away from YOU, and 2. is clearly into playing games. How into games like this, are you? I would imagine-not too much.
The only thing you have to "get" is far, far away from her and if you have to spend a little money to do it, so be it!

Obviously, she doesn't want a divorce - else she would pay for it. You see, if you wanted a divorce, then you would pay for it (and would therefore be divorced). If she wanted a divorce, then she would pay for it (and would therefore be divorced).
Niether of you are divorced at the moment, therefore, neither of you want to be divorced!. QED

Well I suggest you ask her that question. Does she really want the divorce?

But you will still need to pay for your own attorney even if she initiates the paperwork, so if you tired of waiting, just have your attorney do it.
