The email asked for my name, address, phone#. I am always dubious of anyone giving anything away. Is this a scam?

YES, this is a scam do not respond and delete the message. Never give information online! The old saying that if something sounds to good to be true then it is not true is something to go by. Be safe!

it's phishing -- they want your bank acct number or your ID to start opening credit cards. this is definitely a rip.
