I would recommend the Honda fit. The Caliber has gotten mediocre reviews at best in the media, plus it is the replacement of the Dodge Neon, of which you never see older ones on the road because they don't hold up well. The Focus is a bland and aging vehicle that is need of a fresh update. Nissans are not bad cars but have never even come close to touching the reliability and resale value of Honda.

I would go with the Honda or the Nissan Versa. They are both great on gas milage and they will hold their resale value better than a ford or a dodge will. Also they are japanesse vehicles so they hold up well and require very little maintenance!

Honda is one the best cares you can have. It has a great motor and can last you for years. I had stick shift honda and it was used for 6 years and I bought it with lots of miles. The car has 5 more years with me and it has 250,000 miles and it still runs great. It even looks great. Honda is you best choice trust me. With other people I have also seen that they last very long and you hardly have problems with it.
