Who broke up with who, what Fall TV Show will get axed first; the shows didn't even get a chance yet and people are thinking about what's gonna fail. And then fokes talk about how movies bomb at the box office. What's up with all the bad news. Why do people like to hear or report that the most? Or even in Current Events. The news is full of who got shot or blown up. Are there any good things that happened in the world?

1. There's more negative than positive news.
2. Negative sells more papers/magazines -- people crave the dirt to make them feel better about themselves. "Yeah, these scuzzball celebrities make more money than me, but I'm a better person." Or, alternately, readers get vicarious thrills the way they do watching any soap opera.

Because media loves to build up an artist then break them down. Case in point Britney Spears was a lil pop princess now media loves to focus on her mishaps as a new mom...which is unfair, I'm sure plenty new moms have made some mistakes with their baby they simply didnt have camera in their face ready to show the unfortunate event to the world.

The negativity in the media is usually what can be considered the "gossip". If it wasn't worth talking about, people wouldn't care to watch the program. Negativity sells.

People are really into the NEGATIVE stuff that happen to "stars". And "stars" apparently love to do NEGATIVE things. The POSITIVE things are just kept on the DL.
