i recently got my eyebrows waxed by a professional, but i am not satisfied. she said i had to have curved eyebrows because my hair naturally grew like that. i really wanted to have beautiful arched eyebrows like eva longoria. i know i have the option of shaving off my entire eyebrows and just shaping them to what i want daily, im not brave enough to do that. can anyone tell me if the lady i went to was wrong and there is in fact a way to arch your eyebrows?

please only honest and truthful tested answers i really dont want to spoil myself.

maybe just try stenciling in the arch or just try to deal with your round eyebrows by matbe wearing alot of mascara and having smoky eyes so that the focus can be diverted from your eyebrows

I would say for the most part, celebrities generally wax their eyebrows so that they make that perfect arch. My eyebrows are naturally like that...the first time I waxed them, my mom got so mad at me because she said "You have eyebrows to die for...WHY DID YOU DO THAT???" Just get them plucked or waxed. It'll work. Good luck! ;-)

Did you ever notice that after a beauty makeover in a department store you tend to look surprisingly just like the person who did your makeup? That being said, my hairdresser will refuse to do things to my person that do not suit my face - and I thank her profusely for that - is that what happened to you? I was having trouble getting my brows that shape consistently - so I got them tattooed on at a day spa not a piercing joint. Now I'm happy

Nope, it does not happen. Only if you have a full set of eyebrows, you may be able to let it grow a little and then change the shape of it-

The shape of your brows is incredibly important for the look of your face!! They determine how good you look even better than a ton of makeup!!
Do research for eyebrow shaping in your city; use the Allure site and look for the black book of beauty; they have it categorized and with honest opinions.
And remember.....consider this an investment on your looks!!!!

Grow them out and shape them yourself, waxing always trys to give people round eyebrows.

All you have to do is let your eyebrows grow out. When that happens, shape it however you like it.
I go to a barber to shape my eyebrows and no one can do it like him to suit me.
Maybe you should visit a barbershop and have them do it for you.

I had this problem and I finally plucked them myself because the wax jobs were never right. The part closer to your nose, I plucked the hairs at the top of the brow instead of the bottom (unless your cleaning up the bottom) and after where i wanted my arch, I made it thinner and plucked more along the bottom.
