why isn't your son doing the project?

if u mean the uses of forests,then try to find out some lesser known ones.Use wikipedia and google search
Tell ur son to do the project and help him do it.

I hope your son will do most of the work, you will just help him. Batter still provide good supervision.
Take him to library.
Main product any forest provides us is Wood, Medicine,......

ask him to identify the parts of a tree.later ask him towrite down the products that can be made frome those parts and finally ask him draw pic of the parts of the tree and their products.
eventuallu\y ask him to identify the place where trees are found.lead him ibnto the sub with these clues.
