I have had 4 babies. I did experience bleeding/spotting with my first pregnancy. I was very very scared. That baby is now happy, healthy, and 27 years old expecting our first grandchild in April. She, too has been experiencing bleeding and spotting. She has been to the OB on an emergency basis and they were able to hear the heartbeat and had a vaginal ultrasound done. She has still been spotting and will be seeing her doctor this afternoon at 3:45 to have another ultrasound done. It is worrisome, certainly, and probably one of the biggest fears of a pregnant woman that she will miscarry. My sister-in-law also experienced early pregnancy bleeding, one led to a miscarriage and one led to a healthy baby. Best wishes for good news at your appointment this afternoon.

Yes I did I had very little light brown spotting but it wasn't blood it was just discharge type stuff. I have a beautiful healthy little baby girl who's wonderful. Hope that brightens your spirits I know in any pregnancy anything can freak you out and once your thoughts start going you drive your self nuts. Good luck and hopefully everything is fine.

With my first daughter I had spotting at 8 weeks because of irritation on my cervix from intercourse, with my second daughter I had spotting at 6 1/2 weeks and 33 weeks from cysts. Both my girls were very healthy! Brown means you have no active bleeding so no worries! I'd let your dr know at your appointment but dont panic. Good luck!

I did around 8 weeks or so....had an ultrasound at 9 weeks and they said that the baby implanted a little low, which is why I may have experienced some brownish discharge. Nothing was wrong with the baby - Just mention it to your OB on your next appointment. He/She may set up an ultrasound.

Yea I bled bigtime for two of my pregnancies... it had something to do with lots of bloodflow to the placenta. But I spent most of the 1st trimester spotting and had a few times during the 2nd trimester that I had more than spotting.

And all of the pregnancies ended in a healthy delivery.

I had some blood like that...it was called old blood. My Dr said to worry if it was bright red. I'm O- so I had to get a rhogam shot every time I had spotting. We found out after I delivered that I had a clot in my uterus, and that is where the blood was coming from. Good to get it checked out with your Dr though

I spotted and hemorrhaged early in my first pregnancy and I carried to term. My second pregnancy I spotted and miscarried. This pregnancy I have had no spotting at all. It is something that should be checked out but it doesn't automatically mean you will have problems with your pregnancy.

Good Luck at the Dr's

You shouldn't have any discharge that's not clear.- You should go immediately to your doctor
