Of course you can go through contractions in fact you probably would start contractions with an emergency c-section I had a planned c-section so I never felt labour pains but when you have an emergency c-section it is usually because you have started labour and there is a problem with the progression or the baby is starting to become distressed for one reason or another.

If you mean you had an emergency C-Section and then afterwards you felt contractions...that's natural.
Your uterus contracts as it goes back into shape. The contractions shouldn't last long or be too painful. They will go away in a while.

You can have contractions even if you had a emergency c-section I did when I had mine. Then when I had my sec. 3rd baby I STILL had contractions if that is what you mean so YES you can have them either way! BEST WISHES

lol, yes of course you do. Why wouldnt you? all they did was cut you open, they didnt take away the muscles that push out the baby.

The difference is you generally cannot deliver vaginally after such a procedure for fear that you will tear your muscles or uterus.
