I got in my car last night and turned on my lights and the headlights come on and the roof light comes on but not the dash lights. i check all the fuses and they seen to be good so whats next.

i also turned dimmer switch up and down on differnce

Find the dimmer switch for the dash lights and turn it back up....

check the light switch that controls how bright the are if that is turned on then check the fuse

Turn the nobe for yor intireor lights that might work

tail light short will do that...check tail lights.
