or how do i check that it's even in there, and if so how to delete it please? thanx

You can do the following 3 things:

1 - In messenger, go to Personal Settings - then General, make sure that Automaticly Run Windows Live Messenger... is unchecked.

2 - You can check under your start menu under Programs and then Startup. If it is there, right click on program and click delete.

3 - If all else fails, go to Start, then Run, then type msconfig. Click the last tab (Startup) and find the messenger entry, make sure it is unchecked.

hello .
click on start /all programs . look in the list for startup folder . click on it and if you see windows live messenger in there you right click on the windows messenger and click on delete. then click on start/run.type in the box
msconfig
then click on ok then click on the strartup tab . look in the list for windows messenger ,or messenger. then un-tick that box. then click on the . services tab. look in the list for windows messenge or messenger. un-tick the box .then
click on . apply & ok .now your have to restart the pc. when the pc is back to desktop A. system box will pop up
just tick the box ... dont show this again .. then click on ok

check start menu > programs > startup it it there then right click and delete
