It's the end of september, begining of october, how is the weather there? is it a good time to go for a swim? does it rain a lot?

Hi there.
Our weather is very nice. Most of the year Cancun has a Summer weather: sunny, warm and sometimes very, very hot -June & July-. In the actual period, we still have sunny days and kinda fresh night, but nothing we can call "cold", because we only have cold nights in January, and its only for a week or two.
As for the rain, expect some shy rains that last no more than 30 minutes.

I'm currently living in Cancun and right now the weather is great. In Cancun the weather year around is pretty wonderful. It rains a little but the rain doesn't last long it flies by. Great swimming weather!

The weather right now in Cancun is hot and humid and muggy.
However, if you are right by the ocean, you'll get a nice breeze to help out. The ocean will be warm, too. Good luck and HAVE FUN!!!!
