the tags are expired, so do i need to get the new ones first? do i have to get a junk title? i really want to just drive, (ha! more like push), it into the river, but that would hurt the poor fish...

Charities will take your car as is. They will tow it away and you do not need new tags, just need proof of ownership (title).
You can write off the blue book value of the vehicle as a tax deduction.

Just take it to the junk yard and sell it for scraps. And don't get caught by the police for driving with expired tags.

Some charities will haul it off for you, and you might be able to use the donation as a write off. Search the internet for it, or maybe call someplace like the United Way.

Usually a salvage yard will come tow your vehicle, give you cash (average $500), and handle all the DMV business. This is probably the easiest way to deal with it.

calll salvage yards in your area and see if one will just pick it up or better yet donate it to charity for the tax write off. They will just come get it. Am I gonna need to drive you around again?

i believe there is a company that tows the car away for free. Try www.junkyourcar.com or just go to Google and type it in. They say they are a national company. Its worth a shot.

u can register it as a non-operation vehicle for like $15 . . .
or sell it to yahoo THEN push it in the river. . .

Where I live we just call a local salvage yard, junk yard, and they come and pay you for your junk car and haul it away....
