I agree, and like the pope also probably agrees, why is it when you make a perfeclty harmless reference everyone acts pscycho?!?!

Because some people are ignorant all the time - it doesn't have to be the question that suddenly makes them that way. You also have to consider though, that what may seem like a perfectly harmless question to YOU, may not seem perfectly harmless to someone else. It's all about perception.
