Sorry for your loss. I too just lost my brother and bestfriend on August 8, 2006. And I too had some unanswered questions until I could find people who were with him when he fell ill, it hurt to know the details as he did suffer for the first 12 hours, but has brought a lot of closure to me by knowing. I hope you get the answers you want, and I know you don't know me, but I'm always here to chat. Grieving the loss of a loved one is harder than I have ever imagined I never knew a heart could break the way mine has in these past few months.

I am so sorry for your loss. First, I would like you to know that a prayer has already been sent for you and your family.
As for finding out what happened......I would recommend you contact the police department in the city where the accident occurred. Maybe they can tell you what hospital he was taken to. Hospitals have records, too. You might have to talk to someone at the County Coroners office. But, don't let them off the phone until they point you in the direction of somebody who can answer your questions. Be a pest if you have to, but be polite, and you'll probably get all the answers you deserve.

Sorry to hear of your loss.
Was there a police report filed? Did the local news papers post anything? Do you have a copy of the hospital or autopsy report? What doctors examined him?
Do some research there first.
Then go to craigslist.com as well and post looking for information as well. Post a photo to see if anyone recognizes him and has details.

Its always heartwrenching to loose a loved one and being your twin must make it worse.
BUT rather than dwell on what you ask, try to remember the happy times you spent together, what were all the things that were so nice about him. you must have happy memories coz thats the way your brother would have wanted it. If you dwell into sad memories now you will always remember him with sadness. If you dwell on happy memories ,, for the rest of your life when you think of him it will give you joy and happiness and I'm sure thats what your brother would have wanted for you... to remember him with happiness. One has to let go at times

I don't know what happened and I'm not replying just for the sake of 2 measly points. I just want to say how sorry I am about your loss. we have 2 sets of twins in the family and I could'nt imagine how they'd feel if one of them lost their "other half". 38 was no age to go,and it must be tearing you apart, not knowing the circumstances of Michael's passing.I hope someone can help you. God bless you

Ive lost my father and sister in the last 10 years.. when my father died, the nurses at the hospital told us he died VERY peacefully.. i would like to belive them.. When my sister died, i heard the same. They both had cancer, and i know how cancer hurts, ive seen it with both of them. but still i beleive they died peacefully, and i will leave it at that, otherwise ill end up feeling this guilt all my life that i couldnt do anything to make them feel better... whats most important is that THEY HAVE DIED, AND THEY ARE ARE PEACE NOW, NO MATTER HOW THEY DIED.. THEY HAVE THE GREATEST PEACE YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE... let it go...... let it go, dont hurt yourself. I pray God pulls you through with this.
