I have the bobbion woud and it is in the bobbin holdre, but how does it get up to the needle?? So can you explain to me, or a website with pics???

Thanks!

The bottom thread does NOT go through the needle. If you have the top threaded, you should be able to hand crank your wheel on the right side and pull up the bobbin thread. Remember when you put the bobbin in to leave a "tail" of thread above your stitch plate. GOOD LUCK!

With the bobbin in the holder, pull the thread up and hold it on the sewing surface of the machine, and close the little door to the bobbin compartment. Then, while holding the bobbing thread LOOSELY, turn the wheel of your machine using your right hand, one rotation or so. If everything is threaded correctly, the needle thread will loop under the bobbin thread while the needle is down, and when you pick it up again (by turning the wheel) it will come up. Let go of the bobbin thread end you were holding. Take your closed scissors and sweep them under the sewing machine foot (make sure the needle is lifted out of the way) to sweep the bobbin thread up through the hole where the needle went down.

Hope that helps! Enjoy your machine!

Hi!
Release the foot of the sewing machine. Ok, without putting your foot down on the pedal, use your hand to turn the wheel on the side of the sewing machine. you will see the needle go down slowly and come up again. As it is about to go down, you will hear a click or chunk sound from the bobbin area. Look under the foot, you will see a loop. Pull this loop through until you have two threads. The bobbing thread and the needle thread! TA DA!
Hope this helps!

P.S. The foot of a sewing maching is that little thing you put down over the material to hold it in place while you sew. It is also where the needle goes through.

Did your machine come with a manual? If so, I would start with that. I think you may want to go back to where you bought the machine and ask if you could have another "demonstration" on how to use your machine. If the store agrees, take notes. Practice as soon as you get home. The more you do, the better you will be at it.

Or, go to your local public library and ask for books on sewing. Many of these books have pictures that may help you with the basics.

Also- use spell check before you send another message. The spelling errors make your message confusing.
