i have been searching too long, and she is going to turn 4 in december. I feel like she is going to be to behind. HELP!!

look up your house on yahoo maps and then search for a preschool near your house...it will give you everything that is in the area. You can go and visit them...and see what their programs are like. Sometimes even the public schools offer preschools. You also could look for the school district in your neighborhood.

I would suggest going to the Yellow Pages, looking under "Christian Daycares". Check to find out if they are accredited and if not eliminate them from consideration. Then find out what curriculum they use. I suggest a Bible believing/preaching church sponsored organization that uses A BEKA curriculum (from Pensacola Christian College) because after several years of being in that curriculum, you will find that your child's standardized test scores will be 1 - 2 years ABOVE any recognized state school scores. Most experts agree that the most important learning in a child's life happens in the first 5 years. Public schools are just now waking up to that fact and most are still only babysitting services at that level. Do your child a favor and get her started in learning early, especially since you will pay for her daycare anyway.
