"Id say creation... It is not proven that evolution happened. It is merely an accepted hypothesis. When asked how do you tell how old the rocks are.. the scientists say by the fossils they find in the rock layers... ask how they tell the age of the fossils, they say by what layer they find them in ... this is circular reasoning. The problem lies in what would we teach instead of evolution.. not whether it happened."
-----
what a stupid answer. Evolution is proven andhas been proven time and again for many decades. Fossil age can be determined by carbon dating, not only by the rock layer they are found in. Once you establish the age of the fossil, you can estimate the age of the rock type.
Anyway - in answer to your question, i believe evolution to be true. (Of course i do not believe 'in' evolution, it is a process not a basis for a system of belief) I do not believe in a divine being or beings, though I hold no objection to others who take comfort in such beliefs.

Believe, believe, belief... One does not "believe in" evolution. It happened, there is no question. One can only accept it or choose not to. Creation is another story altogether. This concept relies solely on belief. There is no research or evidence supporting it as a valid claim. You can only convince yourself that it is the truth.
Just a side note, evolution does not address how life came to be on this planet. That is known as abiogenesis and it is often presented alongside evolution as a setup. This confuses a lot of people into thinking that it is part of evolutionary theory, which it is not.

Creation, The evidence for evolution is and has been interpreted from a Philosophical and ideological Bias, The answers given by adherents to Evolution here in R&S is proof of the bias and agenda, Atheism has to have an alternate explanation—other than a Creator—for how the universe and life came into existence.
Darwin once identified himself as a Christian but as a result of some tragedies that took place in his life, he later renounced the Christian faith and the existence of God. Evolution was invented by an atheist.
What is sad is that Christians are falling into this Trap and trying to fit evolution into the Bible (Theistic Evolution) thinking they can make it fit.
Lee Stroble in his video listed below “ The Case for the Creator” stated (5 min. 28 sec into the video) The Case for a Creator
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajqH4y8G0MI
That “There is no way you can Harmonize Neo Darwinism with Christianity, I could never understand Christians who would say “ Well I believe in God yet I believe in Evolution as well” You see Darwin’s idea about the development of life led to his theory that modern science now generally defines as an undirected process completely devoid of any purpose or plan,”. Now how could God direct an undirected process? How could God have purpose in a plan behind a system that has no plan and no purpose? It just does not make sense.
It didn’t make sense to me in 1966 and it doesn’t make sense to me now.
The Apostle Paul wrote to His Son Timothy stating that “ in 2 Timothy 4:3-4 “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, [because] they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn [their] ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.”
Those Christians who believe in evolution have no idea how that effects their theology.

I certainly believe that evolution was the mechanism by which mankind came about (rather than being moulded directly out of mud).
I can't rule out the possibility of evolution having been devised by some benign force, but I prefer to believe it just happens to fall out of the mathematical beauty of the universe.

There is no evidence and has never been any evidence of a god, but there are vast amounts of evidence supporting evolution.
Evidence is the key. Sadly many people do not respect the concept of evidence. They just accept whatever loony hearsay happens to appear most romantic rather than trying to understand nature. Additionally the vast majority of theists are the offsprng of theists. They never actually ever had the freedom to think for themselves.

Evolution. The evidence is overwhelming. There is no evidence for the creation theory apart from the nonsensical ramblings of strange people in weird clothes and the nonsensical scriptures that they are always quoting from and reffering to.
