It would be way better to take it to one of thos Mail Service places and send it from there. Most of these places are authorized UPS pickup points. If you call UPS to pick up from your house, it may cost more than if you went to one of these UPS pickup places.

If a call tag is on it's way, then you are good.
If you are just going to call them to pick up, you need to have the proper label on it.
go to UPS.com and I think you can use your credit card, and get a label. You will have to put in the correct weight. or take a really good guess.
I would use the post office, cheaper. usps.com

call UPS and schedule a pick-up. You will have to pay for it. You will have to have your address and phone # and the recipient's address and phone #

Try their website to purchase a prepaid sticker so they can take it even if youre not home...
