Get this straight first of all, I am independent, but since voting independent is throwing my vote away I choose whoever I think will do a better job. I voted for Bush in first election and Kerry in the last election. But honestly, why should I vote Republican next time around?

If you want to stay in the same direction as we are in then vote Republican. If you are ready for some change then vote Democrat. That's the only thing anyone has to ask themselves. Same or Different. I want something different.

The most important thing in the world right now is global warming.
Worst case with these terrorists is a large part of a country might end up being dirty bombed or virused out. Horrific but survivable.

Global warming is threatening the entire globe and the worst case scenario is extinction of the human race.

So vote for someone who has the b*lls to get tough on global warming.

We need:
- More research, research research....
- Action to reduce emissions.
- Action to remove the emissions that are already up there.
- Plans for what we need to do if we fail.

When it comes to a president don't vote your party. Vote the person.

Personally I don't think you should vote Republican next time around, I'm a hard core democrat, but the best thing someone can do, find out about the canidates, where they stand on the issues, and what their record says about them and vote for who you believe in.

It just depends on which issues are more important to you. If you firmly believe that abortion, gay marriage, and legalizing marijuana are the top issues, by all means vote democratic. If you believe sometimes things get worse before they get better and we shouldn't just throw the lives away our soldiers spent serving our country, rewarding hard work instead of freeloading, moral accountability, and returning the power to the parents instead of the gov't in regard to child rearing etc...vote Republican. One of the reasons our president isn't so popular these days is that he had to make tough choices trying to stabilize a region that could rapidly become a very serious threat to our country.

I don't know. Wait and see who the 2 main parties put up. I never vote a party line. Voted Bush and then Dem for my senator and congressman.

This has worked for me for years.

Well if you are in favor of attacking countries that haven't attacked us, running up the national debt, and making the world hate us then vote republican otherwise vote democrat.

you shouldn't. unfortunately it will be either dem or rep, independant will not be having someone in office anytime soon. democrats are most definately the lesser of two evils. under bush: 3 trillion dollar debt, troops are in iraq for no reason, gas prices are skyrocketing making bush's buddies in the oil companies richer and richer, and the whole world is against us because of the decisions he has made. we have to get the republicans out of office.

I am a staunch Democrat.

But I strongly believe you should vote the way your heart & your gut tells you.

Our vote is pretty much all we have left....put it where you feel it will do the most good.

Do some reading & some investigating on the candidates first....educating yourself is invaluable.

you shouldn't. You should vote your conscience. If we all did that, we wouldn't have a two party rut. If you don't vote your conscience, you have no right to complain about having NO choices. I will join you, and vote libertarian. We don't have to win, we only have to divert enough votes so that NO candidate can win...then they will have to provide some REAL choices. Vote for a third party, ANY third party

The Republicans are going to lobby for your vote with personal attack on Democrat candidates. They have very little to say about current issues:
IRAQ
NATIONAL DEBT
IMMIGRATION
KATRINA & EMERGENCY RELIEF
TORTURE
SECRET TRIALS,PRISONERS,EVIDENCE
