I had an English teacher in high school who caught on that I was suicidal and depressed. Instead of letting it slide by, she made the call and got me some help.

Saved my life, she did.

Every teacher made some sort of impact on me, some for good, some for bad.

Probably the most influential was Mrs. Anderson. I made her a promise that means I have to make my dream come true or I break my promise to her-- and I don't break my promises.

She was my junior High principal, my French teacher and my Drama coach. She was as strict as they come, and it probably didn't help that she was nun, but I respected her more than any teacher I know. She had the power of a lion, but the heart of a kitten. She was great, and she always made me strive to be the best. I still she her every now and then, and when I do, it's like I have to tell her everything I'm doing just to make her proud of me.

actually, there are several. Thing is you really dont know until you get a bit older in life and then reflect back and remember.

my 9th grade teacher Mr Ott told me to keep smiling and life will always smile back with me. I never even knew he noticed me in his class, so that was major at the time.

Another teacher in 10th grade told us that you never know who you are marrying for at least 3 years and therefore should wait that long. We all laughed at her, thought she was old school.

turns out she was right.

:-)

great question! Thnx

My 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Bullington.
She told me there is never, ever, a dumb question
and that it is perfectly okay, not to know the answer
to everything. From that day forward, I have never,
ever, felt stupid again. She was a marvelous woman.

Great question.
Have a great day.
