well i know that u r pakistani and u wont agree 2 my point and ultimetely will select sara85blue's answer as best. but still i want to open up ur eyes. out of these countries only india is a strong contender of UN security council seat bcoz of following reasons:
.india is now a world power
.india is world leader in information technology.
.india is a most reliable nuclear country. india has signed a treaty which states "no first use of nuclear weapons". no such agreement is signed by pakistan.
.india is a responsible country in terms of nuclear power. while pakistani nuclear scientist AQ Khan sold nuclear weapons 2 countrie like korea , iran etc.this shows how irresponsible pakistan is.
.india is a democratic country. while pakistan most of the times remain under millatary control. coups r very common in pakistan.
.india's GDP and GNP rate is highest among all d countries.
.india is a peaceful country.
.india don't support and sponsor terrorism. while pakistan's ISI sponsor terrorism. al-qaida terrorists 2 hiding in pakistan.
.india is not a hardliner country. while pakistan is full of religious extremism and fundamentalism. pakistani's r hardlines.
.india is self sufficient country. while pakistan is living on loans and sanctions by USA. if pakistan dont get such loans ans sactions frm USA then the pakistani economy is so weak that people will not get even a food 2 eat.

None. The problem that the UN faces is the same problem that all large bodies have. The disparate elements are always pitted against each other. The current group of permenant members. Britain the US, China, Russia and France are as diametrically opposed on most issues as they can get. That is why very little gets done at the UN. Adding a new permanent member would not help any of the currnet problems. The current permanent members are all the world leading governments who won WWII so I don't think they would let any new members in anyway.
