There may be reconstructive options that do not involve implants. For instance mammoplasty which moves tissue around within the breast. If you had radiation treatments (if it was a malignant tumor) after lumpectomy, be sure to work with a plastic surgeon who has solid experience handling radiated tissues... that usually means one that is at a major medical center.

hey, my mum had a breast removed because of cancer about a year ago. Shes had surgery to reconstruct the breast but it wasnt done with an implant...She had tissue removed from her tummy and that was used to make a breast...sounds very strange! it was like a tummy tuck and boob job all in one! mums a lucky cow :P
anyway, apparantly is very effective, and theres no need to worry about the problems implants can bring! an Implant will only increase your breast size, sounds like you only need yours adjusted. Mum looks great now btw!
warning: if you do have this done dont work very hard after, your tummy needs to heal properly or you could get a hernia!

First go to the DR. who did the surgery for his suggestion. Was there any cancer? If so I would avoid it at all cost and just have maybe some slight adjustments done, but never implants. It is normal to have a breast that is larger.

Get breast implants surgery in India. Cosmetic Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.
I have also read that they arrange financing for American and Canadian patients, as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
My cousin got a couple of cosmetic surgery procedures in India like the breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift through the forerunners healthcare. She is more than very happy with the results. She just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company. I personally have seen the wonderful results and am particularly impressed with the kind of quality care she got from this company. I hope this helps.

You look like you know the pros and cons, Honey! Does symmetry outweight health screening= your life? get fake ones and feel GREAT about it! You have already fought with "the knife" once- don't do it again if you don't have to! I love you the way you are! It's nobody else's business what you've got under that dress! (or t-shirt...)

Mammograms will see through the implants.
Get it done if you will feel better with it.
Get used to the feel of your new breasts and self examine regularly.
