I'm looking for leads to figure out how much petroleum coke is used in the manufacture of synthetic graphite products (other than carbon anodes) and refractory products?

"Petroleum coke"? That's a new one on me, coke is from coal. The process of petroleum and coal development are apples from oranges apart. I know there are processes, have been for years thanks to German ingenuity, to produce petroleum substitutes from coal. Sorry, if they are making coke out of oil these days, I was asleep at the switch somewhere.
