My greatest fear is dying. It terrifies me. I think I am scarred of it because it is the only thing in the world you can't come back from. If you loose a loved one it hurts but you will recover, any other fear you can over come and come back from. If your dead that's it. Besides no one really knows for sure what it is like once your dead. Do you just go to sleep and never wake up? Is there really a heaven where you can watch the rest of the world? Are you reborn and if so how do you know that you are? BUT I will never let that fear stop me from living. You only have one life and you might as well get the most of it. I still take chances and have fun and just hope that I will live another day to enjoy one more thing.
My next fear is the fear of my husband dying. I couldn't imagine what life would be like knowing that I could never see him, or talk to him again. Knowing that he was just waiting for me in Heaven (if it really exists) I would push through and continue on with my life but it would be very hard.

I do have a fear of never again seeing a certain someone, and as I am watching my phone day again today there's also a fear my battery is knackered - not handy as I'm travelling and electrical sockets are a true find. But I have no fear of dying, and I'm not having to try to live either - I just do, and this happy-go-lucky lifestyle (with applying a bit of sense every now and then, of course) means life is good and getting better all the time.
Being afraid to take a chance is natural. But then, when you find yourself in the centre of a town you never been to, smoking fag after fag nervously, wondering wtf you're doing there.. Until a gorgeous woman walks up towards you and kisses you - you know taking a chance is worth it.

i think its both. I think if you're afraid to die then, your not really living, but if your not experiencing life then your not living either. People should try to make the best of life no matter what their fear. Some people should take risks to live. The fear of dying probably sets in the underneath of everyones mind dont ya think?

I fear that I may not see him again, but it's an irrational fear. Because, if I do nothing else with my life, I will spend it finding him (given half a chance...) x.
When primal instincts kick in, perhaps I have momentary lapses as fear floods through me, but I choose to try to take life as it comes and try to roll with the punches, to choose to follow delight and such deliverance as may be found with no guide but my own intuition...

My worst fear is death.... however, I do not fear my own death, I fear the death of my loved ones. I know how much it hurts and how you never truly get over it! It changes your life forever.
