Rabbits are intelligent animals and I believe they can recognize their owners. I don't know how well they listen to instructions but they can be trained to use a litter box like a cat.

Definately yes. My rabbits know me from a stranger. I think it's a combination of sight and smell. They can listen to instructions but it takes a lot of training. This website has a video of a rabbit following instructions, its great!

From what I know of having a rabbit for about 8 years was that they are very trainable and she always knew when one of us were coming to see her in her hutch. When we cleaned the inside she knew to stay on the opposite side. So I would say YES to both.

like every1 i have to agree they do recognize their owner, they may have bigh ears but they hate to listen i train my to be afraid of me but on the other hand love me to death.it was kinda of hard but it works she dosen't listen to any one esle but she will listen to me idk why that is but 1 i gave her away and i miss her soooo much that i had to go and find her. mind u she is an active bunny hardheaded, the friendlyest bunny u can ever be around she just the best i hav 2 so understand when i tell you this. n e way when i went back to get her she was huddle in da corner of a bed shaking and would eat when i walked in the room she was alive, so alive, she was running back and forth doing the thing wit her back leg since that i had never gave her away. i treat my bunny like she is my blood daughter, so i let her play sleep out her cage you know she is potty trained she has her own corner in a litter box she goes to the bathroom. all i can say is spend alot of time with ur bunny and they'll know who u r instantly. oh hey my bunny like to play rough, when i'm gentle with her she get really aggravated so try both with ur i'm not say to kill the bunny now.

How do you be responsive to your friends each and every time they alter their hair, clothing, and scent? There are different figuring out useful aspects. undergo in strategies, we are mammals too. the answer to a great deal of "how does (animal) do (something)?" is quite regularly, the comparable way we do it.

my bunny knows me. he clearly loves me. gets excited to see me etc. prefers me to other people, although he does love visitors. and yes, they can be trained to a degree, my bunny comes when i call him and will sit up for a treat. he ignores me when i say "no", that's how i know he understands! i don't think they can learn as many commands as a dog, but they can learn a few basic things. and like the previous person said, they can be litter box trained, which is great. and when i tell him how cute he is, he clearly understands!
